Product Overview

The VHVS-1000AT is an automatic dual touch screen micro Vickers hardness tester. The hardness tester host features an 8-inch touchscreen and a high-speed ARM processor, and is equipped with a 15-inch tablet computer. The computer controls all operations of the hardness tester, making parameter setting and result display more intuitive, operations more convenient, and also avoiding eye irritation and visual fatigue caused by the microscope's light source, thereby reducing measurement errors.

  • The machine body is cast in high-quality cast iron in a single molding process and treated with automotive paint, resulting in a sleek and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

  • The turbine worm lifting system significantly improves testing stability and accuracy, eliminating the need for refocusing after testing is completed.

  •  It is equipped with an automatic turret function, high-definition measurement and observation, a combination of dual objectives, and a high-definition measuring eyepiece with a built-in length encoder, achieving one-touch measurement of the indentation diagonal, effectively reducing human operational interference and reading errors.

  • Convenient numerical control system capable of automatic unit conversion for the entire hardness scale.

  • It allows for setting the maximum and minimum hardness values, emitting a beep when the test value exceeds the set range.

  • It has a software hardness value correction function, allowing direct correction of the hardness value within a certain range.

  • It features a database function for automatic grouping and storage of test data, with each group capable of storing 10 datasets, totaling over 2000 datasets. It has a hardness value curve display function, visually presenting changes in hardness values.

  • Optional CCD image processing system available, as well as an optional Rockwell indenter for Rockwell hardness measurement.

  •  Equipped with a wireless Bluetooth printer and capable of data output via RS232, USB (optional) interfaces.

  • Accuracy compliant with GB/T4340.2, ISO6507-2, and ASTM E384 standards.


CCD Introduction

  •  Two calibration types: optical calibration, (manual/automatic) hardness block calibration. Hardness blocks support multiple averaging and any number of standard block-segmented calibrations for optimal measurement.

  • In addition to automatic measurement, there are three manual measurement types: four-side measurement, diagonal measurement, and four-point measurement (the order of selecting the four points can be arbitrary).

  •  Supports three indentation mark forms: "rectangular box," "red cross," and "circular."

  • During manual measurement, it has a magnifying glass function to easily locate the indentation vertex position; unique keyboard shortcut functions for quickly moving selected vertices, making measurement operations more efficient.

  • Provides pixel distance and physical distance of the indentation diagonal and calculates the HV/HK value under the current load in real time.

  • Supports various video capture devices with resolutions of 1.3 million and 5 million pixel digital cameras; 5 million pixels are standard, displaying indentation videos on a computer, where images can be captured and stored.

  • It can display and update the current status of the hardness tester in real time: current indenter/objective, holding time, and applied load size, etc.

  •  Can manually measure the distance between two points; multiple distance groups can also be simultaneously displayed on the video or image.

  • Automatically selects the best calibration factors for different resolutions, different objectives, and different loads.

  • All test point information can be identified separately or according to customer requirements. The identification information of the test point will be displayed in the test value sequence list and the indentation diagram, facilitating inquiries. This feature is essential for subsequent analysis and processing.

  • According to GB, DIN, ISO, ASTM, and other hardness conversion standards, it can achieve mutual conversion between Vickers HV, Knoop HK, Rockwell HRC, HRA, HRB, HRD, HRE, HRF, HRG, HRK, surface Rockwell HR15N, HR30N, HR45N, HR15T, HR30T, HR45T, Brinell HBS, Brinell HBW, and other hardness values.

  • When measuring the path sequence of hardened layers, there are multiple flexible initialization settings modes that automatically save and import the previous path sequence; the measurement path can also be saved for reloading at any time.

  • Measurement path sequence results automatically generate corresponding hardened layer depth values and hardness change curve charts.

  • Various analysis modes can be selected for measurement data; all results can be included in graphic reports. Report content and format can be flexibly set, and Word and Excel documents can be generated automatically.

  • Password and management authority can be set: ordinary operators can only conduct hardness measurements according to preset settings.

  •  Built-in standard hardness value conversion tools can automatically convert measured hardness values according to tables and include them in the result table.

  • The software provides both Chinese and English versions.
